Vulnerability
Moments of vulnerability are fragile. When someone opens up, tend to them or risk the moment disappearing.
The Name Rule
When in a group of five, you have no more than five minutes to learn the names of those in the group. Understood differently, you have five minutes to get everyone around you to remember your name. Afterwards, no people ask for names out of fear that the they should have already known.
When in a group of 3, you have no more than three minutes to learn the names of the other people.
And so on.
Peace
Peace is letting discomfort have a seat at your table.

We Are Irrational
Seeing another person with beliefs that are devoid of logic and reason is a beautiful thing.
It’s the best way of seeing that vast irrationality lives inside of you as well.
And this irrationality likely exists as a deeply held belief that you could not imagine is wrong.
The Line Between Compassion and Self-Righteousness
“Hey, read this book/do this thing/be like this, it’ll change your life” is more self-righteous than compassionate. Real compassion is being the space for the other person to exist just as they are.
