Toothbrush Timer

I know I should brush my teeth for two minutes, but this can feel like an eternity. Now, I have a toothbrush that buzzes every thirty seconds. It tells me when to switch to another quadrant. With the buzzer, the two minutes fly by.

Manage your time like how you brush your teeth or eat a steak. Cut it up into manageable chunks. If you do that, time won’t be daunting.

Gratitude

“Focus on what you have, and gain what you lack. Focus on what you don’t have, and lose what you have.” – Greg Mckeown

Ending Workouts

Ending workouts with a relaxing song makes for positive associations and great way to transition to the next thing.

Exercise

I’ve never regretted exercising — something to remember when I want to skip.

Start

When you get an assignment, immediately work on it for 30 minutes: (A) you’ll get a sense for how long it should take and (B) you can ask questions while the topic is still on the assignors mind.

Sitting In Discomfort

Focusing on your discomfort either (a) resolves the discomfort or (b) points out an action you can take to resolve it.

Either one is better than avoiding discomfort.
